"You spoke in solid gold" this beautiful third track from mysterious British indie artist Mononoke starts off. I’d have to say that right back to her. Mononoke’s voice is pure gold. Not to mention her production. Her voice has range, power, and smooth subtlety. If you haven’t heard her yet, I can guarantee you will, and you won’t be able to get enough.

"It’s a marvelous thing, the ocean. For some reason when two people sit together looking out at it, they stop caring whether they talk or stay silent. You never get tired of watching it. And no matter how rough the waves get, you’re never bothered by the noise the water makes by the commotion of the surface - it never seems too loud, or too wild."
Wishing I was there with you now.
"Bring me warm rain and dried lavender and you. I want you most of all."

"Of course I’ll hurt you. Of course you’ll hurt me. Of course we will hurt each other. But this is the very condition of existence. To become spring, means accepting the risk of winter. To become presence, means accepting the risk of absence."
